Movie fans may enjoy the opportunity of staying at a hotel suite inspired by Guillermo del Toro’s most memorable monsters in Guadalajara, which is available for three nights only.

Hotels.com has created a hotel suite that brings the fantastical world of the Academy Award-winning Mexican director to life for an unforgettable spooky stay. 'The Monster Suite' is inspired by del Toro's En Casa Con Mis Monstruos exhibit at the Museo de las Artes in Guadalajara, and is located directly on the museum grounds.

Those who stay at the creepy suite will also take an exclusive nocturnal tour of the exhibition, which features over 900 installations from the director’s films, comics and personal collection. The celebrated filmmaker is best known for the fantasy films Pan's Labyrinth (2006) and The Shape of Water (2017), winning the Oscars for Best Director and Best Picture for the latter.

The luxurious room features design installations inspired by some of the famed director's most memorable monsters from his fantasy worlds, including a life-size aquatic beast, a nightmarish porcelain doll and hands clawing out from the wall. Described as dark and illusive, the hotel suite is not for the faint of heart.

The suite is bookable for three nights only from October 3 to 5. Booking will be available on September 18 for the October 3 room, on September 19 for the October 4 room, and on September 20 from October 5 room, in each case from 12am to 11:59pm.
