Victoria’s much-loved bascule bridge across the Inner Harbour reopened in March 2018 with a handsome new streamlined structure replacing the steel-and-concrete construction of old. As well as swinging skywards to let boat traffic pass underneath, the bridge shines a luminous blue at night. There are separate lanes for bikes and pedestrians to cross.
