In 2017 the famed NYC jazz club opened this Rio outpost (Blue Note's first venture into South America) in an entertainment complex on the edge of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. True to form, it's a classy venue with excellent acoustics that hosts a quality lineup of performers (roughly 75% from Brazil, and the other 25% international performers). Concerts typically happen Wednesday through Saturday.

Ticket prices are steep, but music aside, the service is top-notch, and there's good food (and two bars) on hand. It's located inside the Lagoon complex.
