This mini-museum holds ranger talks, shows an 11-minute film and displays exhibits relating to the glacier and its formation. There are huge panoramic windows looking out over the lake, the glacier and gushing Nugget Falls. Various trails lead out directly from the center (pick up a free map). Note: there is no food available in the center or its immediate vicinity; bring snacks with you.
