Playa Crash Boat

Beach in Aguadilla

This is the next must-go beach north up the coast from Aguadilla. An undulating road winds down to a car park, snack stands, a lively bar, a pier (off which you can swim) and a swathe of ocher sand. It got its name because the air force used to keep rescue boats here to pick up crews from the Strategic Air Command’s bombers that didn’t make the runway. It's on the looping Rte 458, which branches off Hwy 107.
