Created by Claude Troisgros, Rio's most famous chef, this innovative Leblon restaurant takes the idea of the churrascaria (traditional barbecue restaurant) and turns it on its head. Instead of all-you-can-eat meat, you order a main course – say a beautifully turned out rack of lamb, duck breast or grilled fish – and you get as many sides as you wish, served rodizio-style fresh from the kitchen.

Polenta with passion fruit, chargrilled vegetables, oven-roasted tomatoes, ratatouille with quinoa, and sweet potato mash are among the many offerings. The setting is lively, and nicely designed (subway tiles, whimsical prints) with a welcome lack of pretension.
