A tourist from Taiwan has been denied entry into the United Nations building in Geneva because she was travelling on a Taiwanese passport.

Security officers denied the woman entry to the building, saying that her Taiwanese passport and national ID card were not valid documents and recommending she return with a passport issued by China. Although Taiwan is not a recognised member of the UN, Taiwanese passports are recognised by most countries for international travel. Read more: shanghaiist.com
