Egypt’s Ismailia Museum is holding a 30-day exhibition of the artefacts that have been unearthed during the Suez Canal excavations.

Antiquities unearthed during recent digs, and also during works by a French archaeological mission in 1859 are on display. Among the more interesting finds is the remains of a sandstone obelisk given by King Ramses II to his father. Read more: alarabiya.net
