The farm has a beautiful lavender labyrinth.

At Cherry Point Farm and Market, guests can make their way on a meditative stroll through a lavender labyrinth that opens up to a central herb garden, and it is once again in bloom. The farm is located in Shelby, Michigan, a town about an hour’s drive from Grand Rapids and popular recreation areas like the Silver Lakes Sand Dunes.

It is one of the oldest operating farms in the area and travellers often stop by the fruit market as they head to the Lake Michigan shoreline, a popular mid-western destination. But besides the fresh produce and homemade strudel, there is another reason to get out of the car and explore. The incredible labyrinth is free to visitors, in need of a wonderfully fragrant walk.

The labyrinth creates a massive flower shape when viewed from above, surrounded by circles of beautiful blooms. It is so big that it can even be seen on Google Earth. The lavender blooms to mid- to late July, though the colour lasts until early August. Once you make it to the center of the labyrinth, a beautiful herb garden awaits during the summer months.
