An incredible hyper-lapse video takes viewers on a tour of the world, only using images from Google Street View.

Matteo Archondis, a graphic design student in Verona, created the incredible video over a two week period. He told Lonely Planet that he loves filmmaking – particularly time-lapse and hyper-lapse techniques – and also frequently uses Google Maps to help plan trips and discover new places. He decided to combine the two in one video, starting by making a list of cities and places he loves to visit using Google Maps, and then screen captured 3305 frames to create the video.

“I love to travel and I take every chance to fly and discover new places. In fact I created this video because of my passion for travelling, and to inspire people to travel more”.
