If you’re always on the hunt for unique or quirky things to do on your trips, then there’s a new museum you really have to try on your next visit to Budapest.

The Museum of Sweets and Selfies wants to “smuggle some sweets and cheerfulness into people’s everyday lives,” and it is totally unique. It houses a collection of bright, fun and bizarre rooms, each offering a chance to leave the real world behind for a while and giving visitors spot-on Instagram opportunities.
Rooms are decorated with objects varying from flamingo plushies to pink bananas. All of it is the result of more than a year of work by its founders, Lilla and Balázs, who are experts in marketing and have created adventure centres like escape rooms.

The museum is open for visitors to wander around its rooms, but it’s also available for event packages— if you’re looking for a truly unique place to throw a birthday or a bachelorette party, then you can also booking the museum’s VIP room, which will be specially set up according to the theme of the party.

Tickets for a 90-minute tour start at €10 (US$11) per person on weekdays and €11 (US$12) per person on weekends and official holidays. You can check out more info about the Museum of Sweets and Selfies over on their official website.
