With the imminent release of El Camino: Breaking Bad Movie, the Netflix movie that will expand on the epic TV drama series, you can whet your appetite by staying at an Airbnb home in New Mexico that appeared in an episode of the show.
Breaking Bad tells the story of high school chemistry teacher Walter White, a struggling and depressed high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with stage three lung cancer. Together with his former student, Jesse Pinkman, he turns to a life of crime by producing and selling crystallized methamphetamine to secure his family's financial future before he dies, while navigating the dangers of the criminal underworld.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom Breaking Bad House 5.3 sleeps up to 17 guests, and as its name suggests, it was used in the filming of "Hazard Pay," episode three of the hit TV show in season five. The 3600-square-foot house is located in the northwest area of Albuquerque, approximately 15 minutes from both I-25 and I-40.
It provides incredible views of the Sandia Mountains, and some mornings guests may be able to see the hot air balloons that are a staple of Albuquerque culture. Shopping and gas stations are within a 10-15 minute drive. Otherwise, there is an outdoor pool, firepit and billiards table to enjoy, and other filming locations are located nearby that fans can visit during their stay.
Guests will enjoy donning the fun hazmat suits and Vamanos Pest uniforms that are provided to recreate scenes during their stay. A popular activity among guests is to put on the appropriate clothing, match camera angles perfectly, and take pictures that make it look like the guest is a part of the show.
