If you’re looking for a unique and magical experience for this Christmas season, why not become one of Santa’s elves?

Lapland Safaris is looking for elves to join their team in Finland for this Christmas season. The role of an elf is that of a guide and entertainer, making sure tourists get to their activity on time and are safe throughout their stay, but also that of a “magical creature” that knows all of Santa’s secrets and plays in snowball fights with children.

Becoming one of Santa’s elves is a great opportunity to celebrate Christmas “in a country that takes Christmas very seriously, immersed in Finnish culture”. Elves will work not only in Rovaniemi, Lapland’s capital and Santa’s official home, but other Finnish cities like Saariselkä, Levi, Hetta and Ylläs.
All elves will receive “elf training”, which ranges from people skills to cold protection, something that’s definitely necessary beyond the Arctic Circle. “Elfing season” goes from the end of November to the end of December, and while the work might sometimes be tiring, it’ll be sure to fill you with Christmas magic. “The days get dark early in Finland in the winter,” it reads on Lapland Safaris’ website. “But the hearts will be warm”.

If you’re sure you’ll be free during Christmas season, are “energetic, outgoing and positive with good social skills” and speak excellent English (as well as a second language like Spanish or French, which is a bonus), then you might have what you need to step foot into Santa’s workshop as one of his elves— to do so, you can take a look at the job page of Lapland Safaris’ website here.
