Manga Rosa, at the tree-lined southern end of Praia Ponta Negra, is as close as you can get to the sea without sleeping on the beach. The 15 moderate-sized rooms (six with sea views) are bright and attractive, with wood furnishings, paintings and colorful bedspreads. It has a refreshingly rustic style, with a stone-faced frontage and wooden balconies, but doesn't cheat on comfort.
