A sleek new trailer has been launched by Nevada-based Bowlus Road Chief that will appeal to eco-travellers and those looking to travel to remote places, as its battery allows it to go off-grid for a week.

The design of Endless Highways - The Wave was inspired by luxury racing yachts. It has yacht-quality walnut and holly floors, birch wall panelling and is made of anodised aluminium.  Its aluminium wheels are painted black, so it appears to “float” above the road. The blue seating fabric is made from an organic, vegan material that resembles a soft suede, and the master bedroom is designed to be a cosy, zen retreat

The 80-inch-wide Wave has mounts for tablets for streaming both in the bedroom and living room, and the power management system is connected via Bluetooth and can be controlled via your smartphone. It is outfitted with a full galley, water closet and shower, and meteorological instruments on the wall further complement the nautical theme.

The trailer has advanced climate control, including a 10,000 BTU air-conditioning system and heated floors. A 4kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery can power it off the grid for up to a week, plus there’s an optional solar panel that could theoretically provide endless off-grid time.
