Stressful commute? Londoners can now blow off steam in unique fashion, thanks to a mini-golf spot that’s accessible via the Underground.

Situated in central London, Puttshack’s newest location – its third in the city, and the second to open last year – can be found above ground at No. 1 Poultry, but would-be golfers can also skip the above-ground transfer and enter via the Bank Tube stop’s exit 9.

In keeping with the growing chain’s aesthetic of traditional mini-golf fused with “space-age technology,” the colourful Instagram-friendly space features a neon-lit course with an assortment of challenging holes, from a billiards-inspired challenge to a beer pong-esque ramp to the Pac-Man/putt-putt mashup “Putt-Man.” A prize wheel can score you free drinks, snacks, and bonus points, while a leaderboard lets you know where you stand against your competition – no need to worry about your score or your companions’, thanks to technology that tracks your ball and registers your points automatically.

With a full menu featuring snacks like chicken wings, hummus boats, and crispy-fried sushi, plus pizza, burgers, loaded salads, and grilled mains for sharing and a list of cocktails both boozy and boozeless, it’s a solid happy-hour option. But the venue works for late-night excursions as well, closing no earlier than 11pm during the week and 1am on weekends, with DJs providing the soundtrack to each round played.

The course is 9 holes, and each game lasts anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes, costing £12.50 for adults and £6.50 for kids ages 7 to 12. (Kids are welcome during daytime hours at a discounted rate, but the venue becomes adults-only after a certain point.) Groups of 2 to 14 people can book for multiple games, and reservations are available for larger groups and events as well.
