Drawn to Life is a new "live acrobatic journey" from Disney and theatre group Cirque du Soleil, filled with high-flying aerial stunts, fantastical costumes, spell-binding storylines and Disney animation. It tells the story of a young girl called Julie who is tasked with completing an unfinished animation that was left behind by her father. With the help of her childhood memories and a magic pencil, Julie's animation is brought to life through ten unique acrobatic acts, a cast of 65 international artists and stunning stage props from award-winning set designer Stéphane Roy.

"Our show uses new technologies and art forms to portray the innate physicality of animation," says Michel Laprise, show writer and director. "During a number of the acts, classic Disney animation sequences come alive via contemporary projections, complementing the spectacular feats of our acrobats."

Audience members of all ages will be treated to animation from Disney films including Pinocchio, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast. There's also new animation to look out for, courtesy of a team of Disney artists led by Eric Goldberg (best known for characters such as the Genie from Aladdin).

Drawn to Life will perform two shows per day, Tuesday through Saturday from 17 April, at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort. Tickets are priced between $79 (£60) and $179 (£136) and can be purchased here.
