An Italian aid worker has been shot dead in Dhaka by a group claiming to represent Isis, the fundamentalist movement that rose in Syria and Iraq.

Cesare Tavella was the victim of a drive-by shooting by three men on a motorcycle on Monday night, and a message claiming responsibility was posted online.
