Cayos Cochinos

White sands that look like a hallucination are lapped by equally astounding blue water. The phenomenally beautiful Cayos Cochinos (Hog Islands), just 17km from the mainland, can easily be visited as a day trip from the La Ceiba region and are one of the most beautiful places in all of Honduras. Access is by motorized canoe from Nueva Armenia or Sambo Creek, east of La Ceiba.
