Welcome to Uzerche

Uzerche’s single street leads uphill past vibrant cafes to the Église St-Pierre, a fortified church with an 11th-century crypt – one of the oldest in the Limousin. From the front, there are fabulous panoramas of the river valley from place de la Lunade (which takes its name from a pagan summer solstice festival now rejigged as a Christian procession).
