Meet your guide by Gare Maritime Orsetti in Sete city center, and then set off on your 3-hour walking tour to discover French cuisine and history of Sete. Your local guide will take you to a patisserie to enjoy some traditional Sete delicacies before a visit to “les Halles” - covered market with wide range of the best seafood, fish, fruits and vegetables. Your tour will include a stop at a cheese shop where you will be able to sample some of the most delicious regional cheeses. Sete Regional Food Specialities Tour with Wine, Cheese, Olives

Start the tour at 9.30am from the train Station in Sète with your guide and take off for a ride to the Thau Lagoon and its beautiful landscapes bathed in the mediterrenaean light. Start with a visit of a local biscuits and madeleines factory. You will then head to an oyster farm nestled along the lagoon. Learn all about this production and taste the oysters with a glass of the typical white wine of the area: the famous Picpoul de Pinet!For lunch, your guide will bring you to Pézenas. Free time to eat, stroll the narrow streets of the old town center, admire the 17th and 18th century mansions and visit the small art craft boutiques.In the afternoon your guide will bring you to his home settled in an old wine estate. Taste his wines in front of the vineyard paired with local cheeses and tapenade.Return to Sète around 4.30pm

Small-Group Half-Day Picpoul de Pinet Wine Tour from Sète

Meet your guide at 2pm at the Sète train station and take off for a tour including the visit of 2 wineries. You will first stop at a beautiful wine estate and its renaissance style château. Visit the cellars and learn all about the production of wine. You will finish the visit with a tasting of their varied range of wines (reds, rosés and of course a Picpoul de Pinet!). You will then head to a small family producer where you will be able to taste a range of very different Picpoul from the classic dry white wine to Picpoul aged in oak barrels and even a sweet late harvest...Back to Sète around 5.30 pm.

Market and wine tour with homemade lunch from Montpellier

9.30am: meet you guide at the Esplanade de l’Europe in Montpellier. After a 30 min drive you will arrive in Mèze by the Thau lagoon. Visit this very charming little marina and learn all about the lagoon, its biodiversity and activity of oyster farming. You will then head to the local market with your guide who will bring you to selected stalls to sample what you need for lunch and discover the local products: oysters, cheeses, olives, charcuterie and the famous speciality of Sète, a seafood pie named « Tielle ». After your shopping your guide will bring you to his wine estate in the middle of the vineyard for a delicious simple lunch prepared with the ingredients bought at the market. Enjoy it paired with his wines in front of the vineyard...a true Mediterranean experience!Back to Montpellier around 3pm
