5 Days Botswana Delta & Central Kalahari Safari (Camping)

Day 1/2-Overnight: Deception Valley Lodge  Deception Valley Lodge an oasis in the Kalahari of Botswana, a luxury lodge close to the famous Okavango Delta. Experience the Kalahari with Bushmen at hand, to share their knowledge, while you can relax in total luxury at this unique destination. Combining your visit of the Kalahari with the well-known area of the Okavango Delta to the north and the famous Victoria Falls would ensure that your safari to Africa would remain a treasured memory. Day 3-Overnight: Maun Lodge Maun Lodge is situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River and on the doorstep to the famous Okavango Delta. Located only 4 km from Maun International Airport and 2.5 km from the village center and is ideally positioned for both business and holiday visitors. Activities Game Drive Day 4-Overnight: Delta Camp View  Situated on the South Western edge of Chief’s Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta is Delta Camp - set in the forest of a large, beautiful and palm-studded island. The Okavango Delta with its crystal-clear channels, lagoons, sweeping floodplains and countless islands, is home to over 450 bird species, a spectacular array of plant species and the full spectrum of African game - the Okavango has earned its reputation as one of the world's premier wilderness areas. The focus is on peace and tranquillity (stalking game on foot provides all the excitement one could wish for) and guests are actively encouraged to visit the local village, home to the guides, and to interact with the people there. Day 5 client departure back to the international airport.

14 days extraordinary safari Botswana

DAY 2After breakfast, check out at the hotel then and proceeds with the tour from Gaborone to Khama Rhino Sanctuary. On the way to Khama Rhino, stopover at Palapye village where you will stretch your legs and have drinks. Khama Rhino Sanctuary is a community based wildlife project in Botswana, next to Serowe village where the first president of Botswana the late Sir Seretse Khama was born. Day 3-4After breakfast depart to Central Kalahari Game Reserve one of the largest game reserve in the country which covers an area of 52 000 square kilometers, our stopover will be at Letlhakane village where we will have our refreshments and relaxation. Letlhakane is a small village surrounded by 5 diamonds mines and among those 5 mines there is a mine named Karowe Mine which has produced the biggest diamond around the world by the name Sedilame. Enjoy game drives in Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Day 5After breakfast, depart in the morning to Maun approximately 5 hours 200 km on a tarred road, stopover at Khumaga Village the gateway to Makgadikgadi pans, for relaxation and refreshments. Overnight; Maun Day 6-7 Enjoy 2 days in the delta partaking on walking safari and mokoro activity. Day 8-9Enjoy game drives in the vast plains of the Moremi Game Reserve. Day 10-11Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the endless plains of Savuti Sand ridge for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and other wild animals. Meals served at the camp.  Day 12-13Early morning game drive on the way to Chobe National park 46.9 km approximately 1 hour 30 minutes’ drive, along the way you get to see mophane woodland and acacia tortilis. Chobe National Park is mostly dominated by the Zambezi teak, which is very good for making furniture. Chobe National Park is a unique park because during dry season big herds of animals congregate along the river. You will see elephants swimming from one bank to the other, buffalos crossing to Sedudu Island. We will be spending 2 nights in Chobe National Park. Day 14Transfers from the park to Kasane International Airport where you will boarder a flight and continue with other travel arrangements.
