16 Days Botswana's Finest Safari Experience

DAY 1:HAINAVELDYour guide will meet you around 0745hrs at a pre -arranged meeting point. The safari will start by traveling to a game farm on the northern part of Central Kalahari Game Reserve, set up camp and have a safari briefing. In the afternoon you will participate in a nature walk leaded by an local San Bushman trackers and share their intricate Bush knowledge. DAY 2-4: CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVEAs the sun rises you will wake up and enter the pristine wilderness which is the largest Game Reserve in Botswana. Visit Passarge Valley (Day 2 and 3) and Deception Valley (Day 4 and 5) in your exploration of the Kalahari. Savour the vast open space, clear night skies and uninterrupted beauty of game drives and at camp. DAY5:MAUN Today you have an option of taking a scenic flight over the Delta, (1hour is U$ 200) This magical experience provides another perspective of the Okavango Delta 's distinctive water system. DAY 6-7: OKAVANGO DELTA Cruise along reed lined channels and floodplains and enjoy the spectacular landscape of this unique region during the tranquil transfer taking you deeper inside the Delta. You will spend two days exploring this beautiful area with mokoro excursion and guided nature walks on this islands and floodplains of the Okavango DAY 8-9: MOREMI GAME RESERVEToday you will enter Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best wilderness area of Botswana which covers swamp and dry areas. Game drives in the early morning as the sun rises and in late afternoon as the sun sets will be a norm. On day 9 you will move camp to explore  different area of this diverse park.DAY 10-11 HWAI CONCESSIONKhwai Concession covers 180,000 hectares and is one of the prime safari destinations on the fertile north-eastern fringes of the Okavango Delta. A community-run eco-tourism initiative, Khwai is a superb example of conservation tourism. The concession’s elephant herds are widespread, as are the different predator groups. such as lionDAY 12-13 SAVUTESavute is famous for its river that suddenly stops flowing due to shifts in the Earth's crust. From 2008 the river has flowed which has made the desert landscape lush once more. You should see several prides of Lion, Black-backed Jackal, Bat-eared Foxes, Tsessebe, Kudu, Impala, Giraffe and Ostriches on your game drives.  DAY 14-15:CHOBE NATIONAL PARK  head northwards to Chobe River where game drives will meander along the banks of the river, followed by the call of the majestic African Fish Eagle. Camping will be in a private designated area with bush ablutions.  DAY 16: KASANE END OF TOUR The safari officially end with a morning boat cruise in the Chobe River at 1000hours

3 Days Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Botswana

DAY 1 MAUN-CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVE Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. Your guide will pick you up from your lodge and do short brief about the trip. Then depart to Central Kalahari Game reserve using safari vehicle wheel drive. Upon your arrival, staff will set up the camp, then direct you to your camping tents. After a short while, lunch will be served and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea then engage in your afternoon game drive within the park. Immediately after the activity you will go back to the camp were you will be allowed to have shower. Dinner will be served and the time for bed will be determined by last guest. DAY 2 CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVE Wake up early in the morning, have quick shower, breakfast will be served well in time. Immediately after breakfast you will engage in a morning game drive within the park. Come back to the camp. Your lunch will be served well in time and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea and resume your afternoon game drive activity within the park. Drive back to the camp after your afternoon activity, enjoy fresh water and then dinner will be served. DAY 3 Central Kalahari Game Reserve-Maun Wake up early morning, have a quick shower and have breakfast then go for a short game drive within the park while the staff breaks down the camp before coming back to Maun where your safari will end.

Day 3-Overnight: Maun Rest Camp Maun Rest Camp is situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River and on the doorstep to the famous Okavango Delta. Located only 4 km from Maun International Airport and 2.5 km from the village center and is ideally positioned for both business and holiday visitors. Activities Game Drive Day 4-Overnight: Delta Cmp Situated on the South Western edge of Chief’s Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta  - set in the forest of a large, beautiful and palm-studded island. The Okavango Delta with its crystal-clear channels, lagoons, sweeping floodplains and countless islands, is home to over 450 bird species, a spectacular array of plant species and the full spectrum of African game - the Okavango has earned its reputation as one of the world's premier wilderness areas. The focus is on peace and tranquillity (stalking game on foot provides all the excitement one could wish for) and guests are actively encouraged to visit the local village, home to the guides, and to interact with the people there. DAY 2After breakfast, check out at the hotel then and proceeds with the tour from Gaborone to Khama Rhino Sanctuary. On the way to Khama Rhino, stopover at Palapye village where you will stretch your legs and have drinks. Khama Rhino Sanctuary is a community based wildlife project in Botswana, next to Serowe village where the first president of Botswana the late Sir Seretse Khama was born. Day 3-4After breakfast depart to Central Kalahari Game Reserve one of the largest game reserve in the country which covers an area of 52 000 square kilometers, our stopover will be at Letlhakane village where we will have our refreshments and relaxation. Letlhakane is a small village surrounded by 5 diamonds mines and among those 5 mines there is a mine named Karowe Mine which has produced the biggest diamond around the world by the name Sedilame. Enjoy game drives in Central Kalahari Game Reserve.Day 5After breakfast, depart in the morning to Maun approximately 5 hours 200 km on a tarred road, stopover at Khumaga Village the gateway to Makgadikgadi pans, for relaxation and refreshments.Overnight; MaunDay 6-7Enjoy 2 days in the delta partaking on walking safari and mokoro activity.Day 8-9Enjoy game drives in the vast plains of the Moremi Game Reserve.Day 10-11Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the endless plains of Savuti Sand ridge for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and other wild animals. Meals served at the camp. Day 12-13Early morning game drive on the way to Chobe National park 46.9 km approximately 1 hour 30 minutes’ drive, along the way you get to see mophane woodland and acacia tortilis. Chobe National Park is mostly dominated by the Zambezi teak, which is very good for making furniture. Chobe National Park is a unique park because during dry season big herds of animals congregate along the river. You will see elephants swimming from one bank to the other, buffalos crossing to Sedudu Island. We will be spending 2 nights in Chobe National Park.Day 14Transfers from the park to Kasane International Airport where you will boarder a flight and continue with other travel arrangements.
