Playa de la Patacona

The northern stretch of Valencia's city beach has a quieter, more local scene than stretches further south. It's backed by lovely traditional houses – some have been converted into eateries. Several appealing chiringuito (beach-bar) options are on the sand. Patacona gets busy in summer, but like the rest of the strip, it's a wide, flat beach with plenty of room to move even in high season.
