The government of the Maldives is considering plans for a new resort made of floating islands, each with its own private beach, boat jetty, pool and luxury villa.
Backed by Dutch Docklands and New York-based Christie’s International Real Estate, the Amillarah Private Islands will float in the lagoon at Male Atoll, offering the ultimate private getaway for fabulously wealthy foreign tourists.
