About Fionnuala
Fin McCarthy has worked for Lonely Planet for six years, based in her hometown of Dublin. In the past she has travelled solo in Asia and Australia, but in more recent times trips have been tailored around her family, returning to theme parks in the US and sandy beaches of Sardinia.
She is currently planning a campervan trip through France and Switzerland, taking her two dogs along for the ride.
