Tam Thanh Cave is vast and seductive, with a water pool inside and natural "window" offering a sweeping view of the surrounding rice fields.
A few hundred meters above the cave exit are the ruins of the Mac Dynasty Citadel, but the trail is very overgrown and it's a hard slog. It’s a lovely, deserted spot, with stunning rural views.
