We invite you to discover the most famous wine region of Spain, La Rioja, where traditional family wineries coexist with other more avant-garde ones. Lovers of fine wine will get the opportunity to visit and taste the wines of two renowned wineries, stroll through vineyards, and even admire the architecture of the wineries designed by Frank Gehry and Santiago Calatrava. In addition to all this, our tour includes a typical full 3-course lunch in a winery. Rioja Alavesa and Medieval Villages Private Wine Tour

We leave from San Sebastian early in the morning, about 08:30 crossing the rugged Basque mountains into the plains.  The wineries are located between Haro and Laguardia. In this area you will find the most traditional wineries of La Rioja. Some of them are not only attractive for their wine, but also for their avant-garde architecture. We will taste wine in at least 4 different wineries. We include tapas for lunch based on the best local products. This experience will take you on a journey between bodegas, and through time. Sip traditional varieties, like Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo and Viura, you may know, but our expert guide will fill you in with little-known wine gossip and teach you how to tell the difference between these wines.
