The quality of food and service doesn't live up to the relatively high prices at the self-professed fine-dining restaurant at Cradle Mountain Lodge. The interior with its large open fire and lake view is pleasant, but the grills and other meat-dominated dishes on offer are unrefined and weren't well cooked on our recent visit. Service is friendly but unpolished.
