Long Table

Beijing

With its world flags, wall scribbles and cheap western chow, this is Beijing's only bonafide backpacker hangout, sharing a building with 365 Inn. By day it dishes up basic burgers, breakfasts, pasta and pizza (dishes from ¥30). After dark, the sound system cranks up and the cheap Tsingtao beers (¥15) start flowing.

The outside seating at the front is a fine perch from which to watch the world go by.
