London superclub Fabric has been saved from closure on the condition that it has sniffer dogs on the door to check for drugs. The word-famous venue, which specialises in house, techno and drum & bass, faced losing its licence after four drug-related deaths in three years. The Clerkenwell venue will hire seven dogs, as the animals can only work four-hour shifts. The club will also be required to perform ID checks on all clubbers. The club owners said they would appeal against the decision. standard.co.uk
