Pointing dramatically towards the mountains on a ridge overlooking Nyaung Toung lake, the 60ft-high standing buddha statue known as Yat Taw Mu is the most distinctive landmark in Kyaingtong. The temple is off Tachileik–Taunggyi Rd (Main Rd).
