Showcasing the National Costume Centre, which includes regional dress from around Finland, this handicrafts museum has a small permanent collection and also hosts travelling exhibitions. It offers an enjoyable if overpriced insight into activities that, partly due to the long winters, have always been an important part of life here. A branch of the excellent Taito Shop chain (www.taitoshop.fi) is attached to the entrance foyer.
