    Fritzy Palace

The largest branch of the three-headed Lošinj Museum (the others are in Osor and Veli Lošinj), this grand mansion houses a trio of distinct collections: a moderately interesting set of mainly 17th- and 18th-century paintings, a more interesting array of early-20th-century photographs, and a fascinating display of 20th-century art.

    Sea Turtle Rescue Centre

Small but extremely interesting, this centre is dedicated to rehabilitating injured sea turtles, most of which have been entangled in plastic or fishing nets. There aren't a lot of displays, but the staff on hand will talk you through the centre's work. You might even get to see some of the patients. It's located between the Adriatic and Vespera hotels, just up from the promenade.

    Church of the Nativity

The parish church (built 1696–1775) towers over the town from the ridge. Inside are some notable artworks, including a painting of the Nativity by an 18th-century Venetian artist, and relics of St Romulus. It's usually only open during Mass.
