"Every location has at least one backstory that defines its character, and that's often where the journey begins for me. Travel is in my blood – having traveled with my parents from a young age and worked in aircraft finance, hospitality development and travel media. Getting to the destination is a positive part of the experience; - particularly by sustainable methods like rail and bike. Another highlight is discovering something new in well-trodden places like Italy, Greece, Britain or New York, while Ireland's history and landscapes never fail to offer up a mind-blowing surprise. I am Canadian born, Irish raised and live midway along The Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast of Ireland."
