About Paul
Paul Clammer has been writing guidebooks for Lonely Planet since 2003 and has contributed to more than 45 titles, covering swathes of South and Central Asia, West and North Africa and the Caribbean. In recent years he’s lived in Morocco, Jordan, Lebanon, Fiji and Haiti, but recently moved back home to his beloved Bristol in an attempt to rediscover what a normal life might look like, and to finish 'Black Crown' – a biography of the revolutionary leader and king of Haiti Henry Christophe, his first non-travel book.
