Baker Heritage Museum

Northeastern Oregon

Housed in a 1920 natatorium (indoor swimming pool) is the very worthwhile Baker Heritage Museum. On display are machinery and antiques from Baker City's frontier days, along with a notable collection of semiprecious stones, fossils and petrified wood. Don't miss the fluorescent rock room and 950lb crystal.
