Welcome to Granby
At the junction of US 40 and US 34, Granby is a convenient and authentic homegrown stop for those heading into Rocky Mountain National Park or several other nearby recreation and ski areas. The USFS Sulphur District Ranger Office for the Arapaho National Recreation Area is at the east end of town and has useful hiking brochures for the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail, the Never Summer Wilderness Area and the Winter Park–Fraser–Tabernash area. It is also the place to get permits for backcountry camping in the Indian Peaks Wilderness.
