Pick up from your hotel reception by a qualified tour guide in an air-conditioned luxury vehicle. Continue up the awesome Sir Lowrys Pass, through the Elgin Valley, down the Houwhoek Pass to Hermanus and on to Gansbaai. Payment for the boat trip, which includes the use of the diving equipment and a scrumptious continental breakfast, is due on arrival (cost excluded*). After attending the instruction course, spend about 3 hours on the vessel cage diving. Whale Watching Private Day Tour to Hermanus from Cape Town

You start your tour with a pick-up by your qualified tour guide from your hotel reception area. You'll then travel in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle to start your trip from Cape Town up the awesome Sir Lowry's Pass, through the Elgin Valley and down the Houwhoek Pass to Hermanus. Arriving at Hermanus Harbour, you'll proceed to your boat for the whale sighting portion. Please note, the fee for the boat trip is payable on arrival. Spend 2-3 hours on a luxury boat with a whale specialist on board. The Southern Right Whales only appear between July and December, but the boat trip does offer the possibility of sightings (NO guarantees) of hump back whales, Brydes whales, sharks, Cape fur seals, dolphins, penguins and other sea life all year round. Light refreshments on the boat are included, and you'll also stop for lunch in Hermanus. You'll drive home along the stunning Gordon's Bay sea route passing through Kleinmond, Betty's Bay, and Rooi Els. Before the tour ends, you'll also be able to visit the penguin colony at Stoney Point. Full Day 18-Hole Golf, lunch in Hermanus winelands & visit Stony Point Penguins

Polish your golf clubs, gather your golfing friends and prepare to be whisked away on one of our full day golf tours near Cape Town. The Arabella golf estate is home to one of the Top 10 golf courses in South Africa and with its scenic views, it is little wonder that this exclusive golf course is a must play for any keen golfer. It is set in the coastal town of Kleinmond, which is a stone throw away from the whale capital of South Africa known as Hermanus. The 8th hole is said to be one of the most beautiful par 5′s in South Africa. The 18th hole is rated as one of the finest finishing holes in the country. Be prepared for an early morning pick up at your accommodation at approximately 7:00am (pick up time to be confirmed upon receipt of booking). We take a scenic drive along the N2 national road passing small towns like Elgin, Grabouw and Botriver. This is known as the apple growing region of South Africa. Arriving at the Arabella Golf Estate guests will be offered a complimentary cup of coffee, check-in at the ProShop, store their belongings in lockers in the cloakroom and prepare for Tee-Off. (Tee-Off time to be confirmed upon receipt of booking.) Once guests have completed the 9th Hole, they will be offered a refreshment (coffee; tea; soft drink; cider; beer) and a light snack (sandwich, wrap, etc.) at the Halfway House. Upon guest's return after completion of their 18 holes, we will board the minibus and proceed to Hermanus. Hermanus is one of the most popular holiday destinations for locals and tourists alike.  During whale season (July to November), you may be fortunate enough to spot a whale from the shoreline of the many beaches in this seaside town. We stop in the Hermanus winelands for a beautiful Food and Wine Pairing Lunch at Creation Wine Estate. Set in the Hemel-en-Aarde or Hermanus wine route, lunch at Creation Wines comes highly recommended. ( Please note: Should Creation Wines Restaurant be unavailable at time of booking, lunch will be booked at a similar restaurant in the Hermanus Winelands.)After lunch we return to Cape Town with a final stop at Stony Point in Betty's Bay to see the African Penguins colony. This is one of the largest penguins colonies in the Cape. Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation after the tour. Depart Cape Town via Elgin, which is the heart of the apple industry, en route to Hermanus, stopping at the Old Harbour Museum. As long ago as 1857, the Old Harbour at Hermanus Pietersfontein provided a rocky but safe shelter for the small fishing boats whose owners were drawn to Hermanus by the abundance and variety of fish. The Old Harbour was proclaimed a ‘Museum' in 1972.Travel to the Hamilton Russell Vineyards established by Tim Hamilton Russell in 1981. This beautiful, secluded garden is set between mountain and sea, in the heart of the Cape fynbos region and encompasses 10 hectares (24 acres) of cultivated fynbos garden and 190.5 hectares (470 acres) of pristine natural fynbos. Situated in the center of the coastal fynbos where the flora is at its richest, the garden encompasses mountain slopes with their wind-clipped heathlands, deep gorges with relict forests, flats and marshes with restios, sedges and bulbs, as well as dunes adjacent to the beach with their specialized salt-adapted plants. The garden is renowned for its waterfalls and amber pools.The high twisting coastal road leading from Cape Hangklip to Gordon’s Bay is one of the most spectacular anywhere, and with its new coat of tarmac is an absolute pleasure to ride. Hermanus and Whale Route Trike Tour from Cape Town

Depart from your hotel in Cape Town at around 9am and continue on down the N2 towards Somerset West, Strand to Gordons Bay. Stop for a photo shoot on Clarence Drive, rated as the most scenic marine drive in the world. Stop at Rooi Els for a drink or two, then to Betty’s Bay and Kleinmond. Ride further to Hermanus, rated as the best land based whale watching site in the world, and stop for there for lunch. From Hermanus ride to Botrivier, over the Houw Hoek pass, stopping at the Houw Hoek Inn, then through Grabouw, stopping on top of the scenic Sir Lowry’s Pass for a photo shoot.Travel down along the N2 back to your hotel in Cape Town and arrive around 5pm.

Coastal Road Cycle Day Tour from Cape Town

The route commences in Caledon and traverses Shaw's Pass into Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. It follows this wine region to the coastal road in Hermanus. Here cyclists are offered the option of skipping a busy section of road to Bot River.
