Sonam Trophel Restaurant

Top choice in Paro

Sonam is popular with small groups and has excellent home-style Bhutanese cooking adapted to foreign tastes. The best bet is the set lunch (order in advance; minimum six people), which consists of seven dishes, brought to the table (not buffet-style). The momos (dumplings), boneless chicken, ginger potatoes and hentshey datse (spinach and cheese) are all excellent.
