Parque Nacional Pali Aike

This oddball national park is a desolate landscape of rugged volcanic steppe. Its pocked formations gave it the name 'devil's country' in Tehuelche. Excavations yielded important findings of extinct New World fauna. Now you might see guanacos, ñandús, gray foxes and armadillos.
