About Theresa
Theresa Spencer is an award-winning career focused writer and Weekly contributor to the Philadelphia Inquirer. A Communications Director by day, Entrepreneur by night, she received her bachelor’s in Journalism and Public Relations from Kutztown University and her master’s in communication from West Chester University. A Philadelphia native, she is a lover of prosecco, carrot cake, fine dining, and beaches. She has traveled abroad to Paris, Rome, Venice, Amsterdam, and London. Since the pandemic, she has found many amazing stateside gems.
When she is not writing in her favorite coffee/donut shop, she is planning her next getaway. Theresa spends most of her time reading, cooking, traveling the world, visiting Caribbean islands, and hiking with friends in the Poconos Mountains. An admitted sports fanatic, she feeds her addiction to football by watching the Philadelphia Eagles and never misses a game. Theresa lives in West Philadelphia with her partner and impressive collection of shoes and house plants.
