I am a freelance travel writer and photographer based in Austin, Texas. A college semester abroad sparked my love of travel and photography. Since then, I’ve been to over 50 countries and lived in five. I have a master’s degree in photojournalism from the University of Missouri. My work has been published in the Washington Post, AFAR, Texas Monthly, Wall Street Journal and Rolling Stone.
