6 Days Bwindi Gorilla Kibale and Murchison falls Safari

Day 1: Travel to Bwindi You will after breakfast set off for an 8-9 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the south western part of the country. You will have a stopover at the Equator with lunch en-route before continuing with your journey to Bwindi arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight will be at Cephas Inn/Broadbill Forest Camp Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi You will have an early morning breakfast and move to the Park headquarters to join other trackers in a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules at 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you 1-8 hours. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access by tourists. You will have one hour to stay with the Gorillas once sited . Dinner and overnight will be at Cephas Inn/Broadbill Forest Camp Day 3: Transfer to Kibale After breakfast will depart for Kibale Forest National Park which will take around 7 hours of drive. The park is popular for its primate’s population like the chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, red cheeked monkeys and red tailed monkeys. Your lunch will be en route and then you proceed to Kibale National Park. Upon arrival, check in your accommodation, have enough rest, with an optional community walk around kibale dinner and overnight at Rweteera Safari Park Day 4: Chimp track and transfer to Murchison Falls After breakfast you head to the briefing point, An experienced ranger will take you chimp tracking in the morning. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour with them. transfer to Murchison Falls which will take around 7 hours of drive. Dinner and overnight will be Red Chili Rest Camp Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park After breakfast set off for the game drive by 7:00 am. By this time you are able to catch the early risers as well as the nocturnals and hunters before they return to their hideouts. In case your lodge is on the south side you shall drive to the ferry crossing to get to the other side and start the game drive. Explore the major game trials for great wildlife sightings including lots of game such as elephants, giraffes, antelopes, lions and the leopards. After more than four hours of wildlife adventure return to the accommodation for lunch. Later set out for the boat ride on Victoria Nile at 2:30 pm. The 3 hour boat ride is great for beautiful wildlife sightings and awesome picture moments. dinner and overnight at Red Chili. Day 6: Ziwa Rhino to Entebbe Airport After breakfast prepare for pick-up at 7:00 am, You will be driven to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary with a drop off at Entebbe.

5 Days Murchison falls and Jinja trip

Day 1: Arrival in UgandaYou will be met at the airport by our safari guide who will transfer you to the hotel reserved for you in Kampala. Dinner and overnight will be at Forest Cottages Day 2: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park You will have an early breakfast and be driven to the Murchison Falls National Park through Malinda town. Along the way you will visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will have a guided nature walk to track the Rhinos. You will proceed to Masindi town where you will have your lunch after which you will enter the Park via the Kichumbanyobo gate and visit the Top of the falls, the spot from which the park gets its name.  At the top of the waterfalls, you will observe the River Nile squeezing itself in a 7 meter gorge before tumbling 40 meters down in a thunderous explosion and then flows down into a very peaceful river whose water banks are swarmed with a profusion of water and land animals as well as birds. You will have dinner and overnight at the Parkside Safari Lodge Day 3: Game drive and boat launch In the morning you will have breakfast before going for a game drive in the park’s Northern area to see the big 5 including Buffaloes, Lions, Elephants, and if fortunate even see a Leopard. Other animals you will see include: Rothschild giraffes, Bushbucks, Warthogs, Waterbuck, plus a great diversity of other Antelopes in large numbers. At lunchtime you will return to the lodge and later in the afternoon go for the thrilling launch cruise down the Nile. You will sail close to the bottom of the falls and on this cruise you will see various birds, numerous hippos and giant crocodiles plus some other animals grazing close to the banks. If fortunate, you may see the uncommon shoe bill stork plus various other bird species within this area. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight Parkside Safari Lodge. Day 4: Transfer to Jinja You will after breakfast, set off for Jinja to visit the source of the Nile, Africa’s longest river. You will arrive in the early evening and relax at your lodge until dinner time and overnight Paradise Hotel Jinja  Day 5: Boat cruise  in Jinja and transfer to Kampala You will after breakfast have a brief drive through this historical town after which you will visit the source of the Nile and explore it by boat. You will then spend the rest of the day, late afternoon will you will relocate back to your hotel in Kampala or to the Airport for your departure flight.

The sanctuary has overtime become a popular touristic site not only to trek the majestic animals but also an excellent paradise for bird watching, nature walks and just relaxation.Rhino tracking takes about 2hours in the company of well trained and knowledgeable local guides. DAY 1: Briefing on the safari. Start for Murchison Falls National Park safari with a chance to visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. After your breakfast, we drive through the famous Luwero triangle. You can choose to visit and track White Rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary at $40/ per person. This sanctuary has now been established to breed black and white rhino, and restore Rhino populations in Uganda’s protected areas in a later stage.) Take a stopover at Masindi hotel for lunch. We will continue through the park stopping at the top of the falls which is a fantastic sight. Here the Nile, the longest river in the world, is forced through a narrow gap in the rock (only 7 meters wide), before ferociously plunging down 43 meters. From here we will continue onto our accommodation place along the Nile River Murchison-falls-rhino Murchison Falls National Park is the largest in Uganda at 3840 square kilometres. Here is the awe inspiring Murchison Falls where the River Nile hurls itself in convulsions through a narrow crevice and then plunges 40 metres in one breathtaking leap. The park has a variety of vegetation ranging from riparian forests and swamp lands to broad savannah, and provides visitors the opportunity of seeing large concentrations of wildlife including lion, leopard, civet, hyena, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, a host of smaller game, small primates and many bird species, including the rare shoebill stork. The park is especially famous for crocodiles and hippos. Apart from game viewing, the launch trip to the bottom of the Falls is another memorable adventure giving you the experience of the mighty Biblical Nile.
