Welcome to Ko Sireh

Thailand's largest settlement of chow lair is little more than a cluster of stilted, metal-roofed shacks. The Urak Lawoi, the most sedentary of the three chow lair groups, live only between here and the Tarutao–Langkawi archipelago, and speak a mixture of Malay and Mon-Khmer.

A single road loops the island, passing a few villas, prawn farms, rubber plantations, a bit of untouched forest and east-coast Hat Teum Suk.
