Castillo de Priego de Córdoba

Andalucía

The rectilinear towers of Priego’s castle stand proudly alongside Plaza Abad Palomino. Originally an Islamic fortress, it was thoroughly remodelled by the new Christian overlords between the 13th and 15th centuries. You can climb to the top of the keep (Torre del Homenaje) for aerial views of the white town.
