There's no point in denying that a meal in Masca is largely about the location and views, but this restaurant also has a decent menu. El Guanche took over the old Masca schoolhouse many decades ago, and serves up Canarian cheese, vegetable soup with gofio, wrinkly potatoes with mojo and lovely homemade apple cake from its terrace.
