Beer Engine

Harare

One of the few recommended drinking holes in downtown Harare, this pub is notable for its selection of tap beers brewed on site by Bespoke Brewers. It does well-priced pints, including a UK-style brown ale, a lager, stout and an occasional pale or IPA. It's a bit rough around the edges, but folk here are welcoming.

Weekends get rowdy with a DJ blasting party tracks; weekdays are more relaxed.

It's tucked down Park St, next to Cresta Jameson Hotel.
