La Zia Maria

Rotterdam

There is limited table seating at this old-fashioned and aromatic deli, but if you don't manage to snag a sit-down spot, it's still a fabulous place to pick up Italian specialities such as formaggi (cheese), salumi (cold cuts) and antipasti for a canal-side picnic. The chef uses Rustichella d'Abruzzo artisan pasta to make his traditional dishes, which are satisfyingly filling.
