Both ATMs and exchange booths are ubiquitous. Rates offered by exchange booths in hotels are not necessarily worse. Larger banks will cash travellers cheques and give cash advances on credit cards. For a reliable, centrally located bank try Raffeissen Bank Aval (vul Khreshchatyk 46a; 9am-8pm Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm Sat & Sun; Teatralna).
