Introducing Kinsale

Narrow, winding streets lined with artsy little shops, lively bars and superb restaurants, and a handsome harbour full of bobbing fishing boats and pleasure yachts make Kinsale (Cionn tSáile) one of Ireland's favourite midsized towns. Its sheltered bay is guarded by a huge and engrossing fort.

Most of Kinsale's hotels and restaurants are situated near the harbour and within easy walking distance of the town centre. The peninsula of Scilly is barely a 10-minute walk to the southeast, from where a path continues to Summercove and Charles Fort.
